The ''Leader'' (formerly 'The Wrexham Evening Leader') is a daily newspaper in Wales which is distributed on weekday mornings, combining both local and national news. There are two Leader editions in the north-east of Wales: in Wrexham and Flintshire and one across the border in Chester, England. It costs 50 pence and is produced from a Mold industrial site. It is owned by NWN Media and the certified ABC figures released in February 2013 show a circulation of 8,593 in Wrexham. The circulation in Flintshire is 5,156 and in Chester is just 796.〔http://www.abc.org.uk/Certificates/18365379.pdf〕 The Leader is celebrating 40 years of publishing in October 2013, having launched the first edition in October 1973. On Fridays, the Wrexham Leader is produced, which is a free broadsheet edition, but it heavily laden with advertisements and commercials for local businesses. On 3 April 2006, the Leader underwent a style change, and changed its logo to a new, more modern style. The old font and style had been used since the newspaper began. Yearly, a directory of local businesses is given out (around early April), called the Handy Pages. From 14 September 2009, the paper shifted from being an evening paper called 'The Evening Leader' to a morning paper entitled 'The Leader' and adopted the current masthead. ==References== 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「The Leader (Welsh newspaper)」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
